What is 3D imaging?

Unlike a flat X-ray, a CBCT scan creates a 3D model your surgeon can rotate and measure. It uses a lower radiation dose than a traditional medical CT scan.

The 3D model can be used for virtual surgical planning and to create 3D-printed surgical guides for implant placement.

Key facts

  • Scan time: under 1 minute
  • Lower dose than medical CT
  • Used for 3D surgical guides
